Role Overview
As a Loan Coordinator, you will play a central role in guiding loan applications through the approval process within a rapidly evolving lending environment. Working entirely remotely, you'll serve as the main point of contact for borrowers, merchants, and internal teams, ensuring each application moves forward efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to applicants to support them in completing and submitting their loan forms.
- Request and gather necessary documents and information to move applications forward.
- Follow up consistently on all assigned cases to meet processing timelines and performance benchmarks.
- Enter and maintain precise customer data, including detailed notes on all interactions.
- Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, and client-facing teams to resolve issues that arise during loan closing.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails—averaging over 90 calls daily.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements by completing all mandated training and adhering to compliance standards.
- Take on additional tasks as needed to support team and company goals.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least three years of experience in consumer lending, loan processing, or a related field. A solid grasp of lending workflows—including underwriting, credit assessment, and regulatory compliance—is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, along with the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word—is expected. You must be highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to adapt quickly in a changing environment. Success in this role requires reliable time management, goal focus, and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues across diverse backgrounds.
Prior experience in debt settlement or familiarity with cryptocurrency lending platforms is beneficial but not required.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States. No office attendance or relocation is necessary. A stable internet connection is mandatory to support daily communication and data handling.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly pay range is $17.79 to $21.39, with an annual base salary between $37,000 and $44,500. In addition, there is a performance-based commission of up to $2,000 per month. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave, and eight paid company holidays each year.
