About the Role

JLL is looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial premises in Leeds, Bradford, York, and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will apply your strong electrical skillset and multi-skilled building services background to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out reactive maintenance repairs across various commercial buildings.
  • Perform PPM tasks, including emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, distribution board checks, RCBO/RCD testing, fixed wire testing, tap temperature testing and flushing, Fan Coil servicing, AC/AHU filter replacement and cleaning, and functional testing and visual inspection of equipment.
  • Execute electrical works such as wiring fault finding and repair, door entry and auto door control systems, emergency & non-emergency lighting fault finding/repair and replacement, lamp changing, replacement socket outlets, BMS and heating controls fault finding and repair, and immersion heater and instantaneous water heater fault finding/repair.
  • Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
  • Update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the CAFM System.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and plant reliability.
  • Adhere to company QA and site procedures at all times.
  • Follow both Client and Integral’s Health and Safety procedures.
  • Inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call outs/repairs as required.
  • Attend emergencies, inside and outside of normal working hours.
  • Keep and maintain all company-issued tools in a safe and working condition.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports for any remedial works required on site.
  • Produce technical and situational reports as needed.
  • Update on-site log books for compliance purposes.
  • Complete electrical testing and any associated certificates or documentation for works completed.
  • Complete on-site Method Statements and Risk Assessments as necessary.
  • Pro-actively develop and manage relevant stakeholder relationships to achieve expected service levels.
  • Comply with all Client contract requirements and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure the delivery of all operational requirements as per the client scope of works.
  • Ensure compliance with JLL and client Health, Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and procedures.
  • Resolve user complaints and concerns with solutions and follow up.
  • Review and spot-check suppliers/service providers performance to ensure contractual obligations are delivered.
  • Schedule detailed floor inspections conducted regularly.
  • Implement service tasks, procedures and policies and measure performance.
  • Maintain an effective Work Order system for rectifying defective items/services and ensure timely resolution.
  • Support critical out-of-hours issues and participate as a key team member in emergency responses.
  • Coordinate churn work and minor project works requested by users.
  • Report building incidents following set escalation channels with measures and solutions.
  • Manage the Vendor Contract database to ensure it is up to date.
  • Manage vendor procurement processes, ensure timely contract execution and negotiation, including preparation of tender documentation and contracts.
  • Generate reports and conduct presentations as per service delivery requirements and overall account management.

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ 3 Electrical Installation.
  • C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation.
  • C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or 2330 Levels 2 & 3.
  • C&G 2391 or 2394 & 2395.
  • 18th edition certificate.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
  • Strong Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance experience.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Ability to act on own initiative.
  • Smart appearance, presentable.
  • Availability for call outs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work from a smartphone and PDA.
  • Comfortable working within a team environment, contributing to team success whilst willingly following instructions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements, willing to accept change.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including work at weekends and in the evenings.
  • IPAF 3a&3b.
  • PASMA.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Basic plumbing, carpentry and fabric skills.

Work Mode

This is a mobile, local-city role based in the Leeds, North Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire areas. You will travel to various commercial premises across these regions to perform your duties.
