About the Role
The Mobile Electrical Engineer ensures the reliability and safety of electrical systems by conducting field assessments, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple client sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site electrical system inspections and assessments
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in commercial and industrial settings
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes
- Collaborate with project managers and field technicians
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and service records
- Respond to emergency electrical issues as needed
- Conduct performance evaluations of electrical components
- Assist in energy efficiency initiatives
- Provide technical guidance during equipment upgrades
- Troubleshoot power distribution systems
- Work with low and medium voltage systems
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all electrical work
- Support integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors
- Perform root cause analysis on system failures
- Recommend improvements for system reliability
- Assist in developing maintenance schedules
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments
Nice to Have
- Experience with emergency power systems such as generators and UPS
- Familiarity with renewable energy integration
