ASM Research is hiring a Military Field Consultant

ASM Research is looking for a Military Field Consultant to manage a geographically distributed team responsible for supporting military beneficiaries. In this leadership role, you will ensure service delivery, advocate for families, and identify regional needs.

What You'll Do

  • Provide supervision, training, mentoring, and practical support to assigned Field Consultants, including hiring, onboarding, management, and problem resolution.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to coordinate activities, identify lessons learned, and improve service delivery.
  • Support the development of government-required deliverables, including analyzing data and compiling inputs from your team.
  • Ensure team adherence to internal requirements for outreach plans, travel reports, and updates to reporting tools.
  • Travel extensively throughout your assigned region to assess and document the needs of military families, identify recommendations to address service gaps, and form relationships with community providers and military representatives.
  • Support on-demand events, such as staffing exhibit booths, providing briefings and trainings, facilitating referrals, and building coalitions to connect resources.
  • Submit orders for educational and marketing materials.
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of direct reports.
  • Assist the Field Operations Manager and Director of Outreach Operations as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 15 years of combined experience: at least 10 years of prior military service or relevant knowledge, plus 5 years in Military Service Programs and marketing, sales, recruiting, education, or similar networking-intensive work.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in either military or civilian roles.
  • Strong customer service skills, knowledge of field operations, and a deep understanding of the military lifestyle.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within your assigned geographical region.
  • Ability to tailor communications to multiple audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with project administration and meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Experience in customer service quality and/or help desk environments.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.

Nice to Have

  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in recruiting, counseling, or academic instruction is a plus.

Team & Environment

This role reports to the Field Operations Manager and Director of Outreach Operations.
