The role involves supporting construction cost management services across sectors such as Defence, Environment, Transport, and Water, both in the UK & Ireland and globally. Graduates will engage in all stages of projects and receive structured development support toward achieving professional chartership.
Responsibilities
- Work on local projects while collaborating with teams across the UK and potentially internationally
- Participate in all project phases from initial definition and briefing through to cost planning, procurement, construction, and building use
- Engage with a diverse range of clients and design professionals, including high-profile organizations
- Take ownership of assigned tasks while working independently and collaboratively within teams
- Receive guidance and support for ongoing professional development
- Support pre-contract activities such as cost modelling and cost planning
- Carry out benchmarking, value analysis, and risk assessment
- Attend and contribute to design team meetings
- Undertake procurement activities and manage tendering processes
- Prepare and compile contract documentation
- Assist with post-contract responsibilities including attendance at site progress meetings
- Complete interim valuations and financial reporting tasks
- Prepare due diligence reports
- Review and manage change control procedures

- Graduate-level degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
