About the Role

PhillyTech.Co is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to join our high-growth startup. You will play a key role in selling our vendor management platform to Private Equity and Venture Capital firms, helping them improve operational efficiency across their portfolio companies.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Drive a heavy outbound pipeline targeting Private Equity firms and Venture Capital firms.
  • Book and run discovery calls with portfolio operations teams, investment leaders, and decision makers.
  • Conduct demos and clearly communicate the value of the platform.
  • Close SaaS deals in the $30K to $70K ARR range.
  • Build relationships with Private Equity and Venture Capital professionals who influence vendor selection.
  • Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
  • Work closely with company leadership as the sales motion evolves.
  • Provide feedback from the market to help refine positioning and messaging.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience owning a full-cycle sales process, from prospecting to close.
  • Demonstrated success selling B2B SaaS, ideally with deal sizes in the $30K+ ARR range.
  • Experience selling into financial services, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a related sector.
  • Ability to drive outbound pipeline generation and manage a complex sales cycle.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for running discovery calls and product demos.
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with leadership and provide market feedback.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base salary: $75K to $90K
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180K

Job Description: As the first SMB Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle end-to-end and play a critical role in shaping the company’s revenue motion.This is a high ownership, high accountability role for someone who is comfortable operating without a playbook and who thrives in fast-moving environments.You will be responsible for:* Owning the full sales cycle from first touch through close across inbound, referral, event-driven, and outbound opportunities Running discovery and product demos with a deep understanding of affiliate and partnership marketing, including how brands structure programs, evaluate performance, and scale partner-driven revenue* Selling to founders, growth leaders, partnership managers, and marketing teams who already run or are actively building affiliate programs * Educating prospects on partnership growth as a core revenue channel and how personalization and automation accelerate scale Building clear business cases that map the platform directly to partner revenue outcomes, activation speed, and performance lift* Negotiating and closing deals while owning pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-through * Partnering closely with onboarding, product, and operations to ensure smooth handoff and strong early customer outcomes * Bringing structured insights from sales conversations back to Marketing and Product to refine positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy * Representing the company in a credible, confident, and values-aligned way in calls, events, and partner conversations Qualifications: Required Experience2–5+ years of full-cycle SMB sales experience selling MarTech SaaS specifically into affiliate, partnership, Influencer marketing, or DTC growth teams.Direct experience with partnership and or affiliate marketing as a revenue channel. This is a core requirement.Proven ability to sell to marketers who own partnerships, affiliates, influencers, or performance channels, and to speak credibly about how those programs drive revenue.Sales ExecutionStrong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in SMB or mid-market environments.Experience running structured discovery, uncovering partnership maturity, and mapping solutions to clear revenue and growth outcomes.Ability to simplify complex MarTech products into clear, compelling value narratives for non-technical buyers.Confident leading discovery calls, demos, negotiation, and close end to end.Mindset and OwnershipHighly self-motivated, competitive, and driven by owning a number, not supporting someone else’s.Builder mentality.
