Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations for the IT department, covering cost tracking, journal entries, cost allocations, accruals, and reconciliation processes.
- Design, update, and enhance financial tools, reports, and performance dashboards.
- Oversee budget planning and execution for capital and operational expenditures.
- Track performance and usage of IT products and services.
- Lead financial planning initiatives and produce forecasts for IT spending.
- Assist Product and Service Managers and IT units in organizing, tracking, and improving their budget utilization.
- Gather and unify financial information from multiple inputs such as contracts, enterprise resource systems, vendor data, and internal cost centers.
- Serve as the liaison between the Workplace Alliance in Brazil and global finance and controlling teams within the digital workplace organization.
- Build and maintain documented cost models, allocation methodologies, and chargeback or showback frameworks where relevant.
- Contribute to the yearly financial planning process, budget evaluations, and strategic IT investment planning.
- Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, accounting principles, and audit requirements.
- Spot and recommend improvements in financial performance, automation of processes, and governance frameworks.
