This position supports CJOA intelligence requirements by conducting strategic and operational analysis using open-source intelligence (OSINT) and classified/unclassified data sources. The analyst produces threat assessments and briefings for U.S. intelligence leadership and may contribute to policy development and inter-agency coordination.
Responsibilities
- Conducts research using both unclassified and classified databases to support intelligence reporting.
- Analyzes strategic and operational intelligence data to identify trends and threats.
- Provides research assistance to analysts preparing Intelligence Community reports and briefings.
- May act as a liaison with subcontractors, government personnel, and technical specialists.
- Researches, writes, and coordinates threat assessments for military and intelligence leaders.
- Presents intelligence findings to members of the Intelligence Community.
- May support the creation and maintenance of analytical policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Associate's degree combined with four years of relevant intelligence analysis experience.
- Minimum of four years of analytical experience at the operational or strategic level within the Department of Defense or comparable government agencies.
- Prior military intelligence specialty including MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent codes such as USMC 0204, 0210, 0211, 0231, U.S. Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF 1N051, 1N771, or 1N451A.
- Completion of OSINT Fundamentals Course or OS1 prior to deployment.
- Completion of OS302 OSINT Analytic Tools Course before deployment as specified in Para 3.2.3.3.1.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Proficient in standard computer applications and intelligence automation tools used in analysis.
- Experienced in using social media platforms for research and intelligence gathering.
- Demonstrates strong research, analytical, and written communication abilities.
- Capable of working remotely as part of an analytical team supporting CJOA missions.
- Possesses effective briefing skills with the ability to clearly convey information.
- Language proficiency in Arabic and/or Russian, tested to DPLT or ILR level 2/2; Levantine Arabic preferred, Modern Standard Arabic acceptable.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in counterterrorism, Afghanistan, Iraq/SWA regional issues, HUMINT, CI, or military analysis.
- Completion of EAG Basic Social Media Analysis Course.
- Completion of EAG Advanced Social Media Analysis Course.
- Language proficiency in Farsi, independently tested to DPLT or ILR level 2/2.

Work Arrangement

Analytical team operating remotely in support of CJOA requirements, reporting to the Commander and/or leaders in the U.S. civilian intelligence community.
