JLG, an Oshkosh company, is hiring a District Sales Manager to implement overall sales and marketing plans and manage assigned accounts and branch operations. You will be responsible for the territory covering Dallas TX, Northern Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a complete Business Planning Document for your account.
- Provide input on market development, sales promotion, distribution, and pricing policies.
- Analyze and report market trends, potentials, and sales forecasts.
- Recommend product changes aligned with JLG's product life cycle management.
- Work with sales personnel to develop existing and new user accounts.
- Train distributor and/or rental company sales and office personnel on JLG products.
- Maintain effective working relationships with all account principals.
- Recommend any changes and additions in distribution.
- Continually provide and document competitive activity and information.
- Achieve sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Equipment Services, Access Financial Services, and Customer Support Group.
- Develop information for JLG Management needed for required reports.
- Prepare other reports as required and document minutes of all important meetings with assigned distributors.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 6+ years of related experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 60-70% of the time.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $102,800 - $176,800.

This is a local-country role with the primary territory covering Dallas TX, Northern Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
