AECOM is looking for a MEPF Expert (Airside) with over 15 years of specialized experience to join our team. You will bring deep expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, focusing on airside operations for major infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects across Pan India. This role requires technical leadership and the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and optimization of airside systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and air distribution networks.
- Ensure project compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and system analysis for airside projects.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of MEPF projects, managing timelines, budgets, and quality.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of architects, contractors, and consultants.
- Manage procurement processes for airside equipment and materials.
- Provide expert guidance on airside system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to airside systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering professional development.
- Lead technical workshops and training sessions.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols and risk management practices.
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in MEPF systems, specializing in airside operations.
- Expertise in HVAC design, air distribution systems, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and simulation software.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale infrastructure projects like airports, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of green building practices and sustainable design principles.
- Familiarity with global airside standards and practices.
