Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality, accessible virtual therapy to college students. In this fully remote role, you will make a direct impact on student well-being and academic success through evidence-based practices.
What You'll Do
- Provide virtual therapy using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with campus-based providers, supervisors, and peers to ensure integrated student care.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of all clinical sessions and interactions.
- Engage with the administrative support team to facilitate seamless scheduling, follow-up, and resource provision.
- Attend clinical trainings and company-wide meetings to support continuous learning and alignment with care standards.
- Manage risk situations with clinical soundness and consult with leadership when needed.
- Embrace and support a care model tailored to student mental health within the academic context.
What We're Looking For
- Independent clinical licensure in Washington (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC).
- Experience conducting thorough intake assessments and forming clear diagnostic impressions.
- Proficiency in working with diverse student populations, with a commitment to culturally competent care.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, crisis management, and appropriate referral.
- Reliable access to a computer with video capability and stable internet connection.
- Passion for supporting students in transitional life stages and improving mental health access nationwide.
