Mass General Brigham (The McLean Hospital Corporation) seeks a Mental Health Specialist to join the Dissociative Disorder unit. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and actively participate in the therapeutic milieu, supporting our mission of exceptional patient care, research, and community service.
What You'll Do
- Identify and report house cleaning or equipment problems to the Unit Secretary/ND.
- Participate in the unit’s inventory system and report when supplies are low.
- Initiate activities that assist patients in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Identify patient hygiene needs and implement interventions to meet them.
- Provide for patients’ nutritional needs according to unit procedure.
- Assist and reassure patients during tests, exams, and procedures.
- Escort and supervise patients on and off ground, maintaining patient safety.
- Complete mandatory in-service requirements.
- Identify areas of strength and professional development needs with your supervisor.
- Maintain competency for treating age-specific patient populations.
- Seek constructive feedback regarding work performance from peers and colleagues.
- Participate in critical incident de-briefing.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must complete and pass Epic training within 30 days of hire.
- Successful passing (80% or higher) of Epic training module(s).
Nice to Have
- One year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience.
- Previous experience in direct patient care.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $22.29 - $25.94/Hourly.
Work Mode
This role is fully onsite at 115 Mill Street.
