CVS Health is looking for a Member Advocate to join our team, focused on transforming healthcare to be more connected, convenient, and compassionate. In this role, you will conduct direct member outreach and engagement for our Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP) program.
What You'll Do
- Initiate engagement with assigned members to introduce the program and gather updated demographic information.
- Schedule assessments based on member preferences and care manager availability.
- Accurately document all interactions in the member’s electronic record.
- Protect member confidentiality and adhere to company privacy and HIPAA policies.
- Support members during enrollment calls, managing difficult or emotional situations effectively.
- Conduct triage to connect members with appropriate care team personnel.
- Act as the team’s Medicaid recertification specialist.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in customer service, telemarketing, Medicaid, and/or sales.
- Experience with computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Must reside in New Jersey and be able to travel 25-40% to attend member meetings.
Nice to Have
- Call center experience.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology.
- Flexibility with work schedule to meet business needs.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid remote position. You will work from home with travel required within the northern counties of New Jersey, including Passaic, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, or Union counties.
