Zócalo Health is hiring a Member Acquisition Specialist - San Bernardino

Responsibilities

  • Engage eligible community members in person to discuss enrollment opportunities
  • Maximize immediate sign-ups and conversion rates during field interactions
  • Assist individuals through each step of the registration, intake, and enrollment process
  • Meet or exceed weekly targets for enrollment, registration, and conversion
  • Follow up consistently to convert leads and referrals into active members
  • Identify obstacles to enrollment and escalate issues promptly
  • Support efforts to retain and re-engage existing members when applicable
  • Conduct enrollment activities at designated partner sites and community events
  • Represent the organization professionally in community settings
  • Quickly establish rapport and trust with community members
  • Assist in organizing and running events aimed at increasing enrollment
  • Remain adaptable to field work, including availability during evenings and weekends
  • Complete all registration forms, documentation, and workflows accurately and on time
  • Log activities and outcomes promptly in Athena and other required systems
  • Adhere to operational procedures, compliance standards, and documentation protocols
  • Report operational challenges, field observations, and workflow issues immediately
  • Collaborate with Market Growth Managers to advance local enrollment strategies
  • Foster a results-driven team culture centered on enrollment success
  • Communicate regularly about field progress, conversion hurdles, and operational needs
