Zócalo Health is hiring a Member Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with community members to conduct enrollment discussions in person
  • Maximize immediate sign-ups and conversion rates during field activities
  • Assist individuals through the full registration, intake, and enrollment journey
  • Meet weekly targets for enrollment, registration, and conversion metrics
  • Consistently follow up with leads to convert them into active members
  • Recognize obstacles to enrollment and escalate issues appropriately
  • Contribute to efforts that retain and re-engage existing members when applicable
  • Carry out enrollment tasks at designated partner locations, community sites, and outreach events
  • Serve as a professional representative in community environments
  • Quickly establish rapport and trust with diverse community members
  • Support events hosted by the organization to create new enrollment opportunities
  • Adapt to field-based work schedules, including availability during evenings and weekends
  • Complete all registration forms, documentation, and enrollment steps accurately in operational systems
  • Log activities promptly and correctly in Athena and other required platforms
  • Follow defined procedures, compliance standards, and documentation protocols
  • Report operational challenges, field observations, and process impediments in real time
  • Collaborate with Market Growth Managers to advance community enrollment strategies
  • Foster a high-performance team culture centered on enrollment success
  • Maintain clear communication about field operations, conversion difficulties, and resource needs
