The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific bridge between the medical community and the organization, engaging in non-promotional dialogue with key stakeholders including Thought Leaders and healthcare providers. This role focuses on advancing understanding of current and emerging therapies through evidence-based communication and deep therapeutic knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain scientific collaborations with experts in the field to address unsolicited inquiries on medical, product-related, and health economics topics
- Deliver accurate, compliant presentations and respond to clinical questions using a range of formats, including virtual and in-person meetings
- Monitor and interpret changes in the medical and competitive landscape to anticipate stakeholder needs
- Collect and share actionable insights from the field to shape medical and development strategies
- Design and execute territory-specific field plans aligned with therapeutic goals and expert input
- Support clinical research initiatives by identifying potential investigators and assessing site feasibility
- Assist in training internal teams on scientific developments and therapeutic area updates
- Contribute to medical education programs and support investigator-sponsored research in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure adherence to pharmacovigilance standards and promptly report any adverse events
Requirements
- Medical Doctor or Pharmacist qualification required
- Experience in clinical research or a scientific environment
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful information for healthcare professionals
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with fluency in English
- Understanding of clinical trial design, healthcare systems, and health economics principles
- Capacity to independently manage a territory while collaborating across functions
- Familiarity with medical publications and ongoing learning in scientific disciplines
