Abbott Laboratories Inc is hiring a Medical Representative responsible for sales activities, customer relationships, and market development within a fixed territory in China.
What You'll Do
- Conduct daily field visits, ensuring a minimum of 4.5 days per week and at least 12 effective face-to-face visits per day, with proper coverage and frequency for priority clients.
- Perform VIP visits at least once per month to key hospital personnel to secure support.
- Organize at least one product presentation meeting per week to enhance doctors' understanding of products.
- Plan monthly targets for your assigned territory and track progress weekly to achieve goals.
- Manage your territory by planning hospital coverage, updating client information, and expanding business through intensive cultivation.
- Manage finances by submitting pre-approval requests for marketing activities, spending only after approval, and submitting expense reports within 3 weeks.
- Develop monthly product development plans, especially for new products, based on marketing strategies and specific territory conditions.
- Explain product knowledge during weekly meetings and undergo regular exams, with results impacting performance evaluation.
- Apply learned sales techniques effectively in the field to improve visit efficiency.
- Ensure 8 hours of effective daily visits within your territory and maintain phone availability from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM for company and client contact.
- Manage reporting and adhere to all laws, commercial codes of conduct, and company policies.

Team & Environment
This role is part of the Sales Force within Abbott's Established Pharma division (EPD). You will report directly to a District Manager (DM).
Work Mode
This role requires a local-country presence in China and is designated as remote within the assigned territory.
