What You'll Do
Review medical records and self-declarations submitted by individuals applying to join the British Army. You will analyze clinical information to determine medical eligibility, ensuring decisions align with established military health standards. Your assessments will be conducted independently while supported by team structures and clinical guidance.
Enter findings and supporting rationale into internal systems with precision, maintaining high accuracy across approximately eight cases per day. Meet consistent performance targets while adhering to quality benchmarks. Participate in ongoing audit processes to support continuous improvement and clinical validity.
Requirements
You must be a qualified healthcare professional currently registered in the UK with a recognized body such as the NMC or HCPC, with no limitations on your practice. Previous clinical experience as a nurse, paramedic, or physiotherapist is essential.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are critical, as is the ability to apply sound clinical judgment consistently. You should be comfortable working in a structured environment with measurable daily objectives and be confident in making evidence-based decisions without direct patient contact.
