Barwon Health is looking for a Casual Career Medical Officer (PGY3+) to join Colac Area Health. In this role, you will provide supervised day-to-day clinical management for ambulatory and admitted patients. This position supports the Medical Board of Australia’s pre-registration training requirements and includes work across Urgent Care and Inpatient Services.
What You'll Do
- Provide effective supervised day-to-day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients/residents/clients.
- Fulfill Medical Board of Australia pre-registration training requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery: Australian/New Zealand Graduate or fully qualified AMC graduate.
- Demonstrated relevant experience of a minimum of 3 years as a Hospital Medical Officer in a hospital setting, with at least 1 year in the Australian Healthcare system.
- Unconditional general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA), with no restrictions.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Right to work in Australia.
