Barwon Health is looking for a Clinical Support Nurse to join our team in Colac, Victoria. This is a supernumerary role where you will provide direct clinical support, instruction, and mentoring to students, graduates, newly appointed, and less experienced nurses. Your focus will be on developing high-quality clinical care skills across numerous units or wards.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct clinical support and instruction to students, graduates, newly appointed, or less experienced nurses.
- Mentor nurses to develop high-quality clinical care skills.
- Work across numerous units or wards as a supernumerary resource.
What We're Looking For
- Registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence and extensive consolidation in the clinical setting.
- Recent clinical experience.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- A high level of organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lead change and strong collaborative and team skills.
- Established writing and computer skills, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding and adherence to Colac Area Health Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupational Health and Safety policies.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to complete it.
