Transport for London (TfL) is looking for a Track Operative Engineering Apprentice to join a 2-year development programme on the London Underground. You will work across the network alongside skilled track engineers, maintaining and repairing the critical track infrastructure that keeps London moving. This hands-on role involves night shifts, trackside work, and physical teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Work as part of a track team to complete essential track maintenance under the supervision of a Site Person in Charge.
- Assist line inspection staff in undertaking Safety Critical Inspections of the track.
- Work safely at all times adhering to strict Safety Controls and Instructions given.
What We're Looking For
- Hold or be working towards a minimum of 2 GCSE’s A*-C / grade 4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English language.
- Must be 18 years of age by 8th September 2026.
- Not eligible if you currently hold or are undertaking the same Apprenticeship Standard.
