AirSculpt is hiring a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (Casual)

Responsibilities

  • Execute all medical device reprocessing (MDR) tasks ethically and legally to guarantee patient safety
  • Implement and follow infection prevention and control protocols across all clinical areas
  • Operate various onsite MDR equipment safely and correctly
  • Conduct routine maintenance and quality control checks on MDR equipment
  • Maintain accurate MDR logs and records
  • Complete essential reprocessing steps to disinfect or sterilize medical equipment
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock exam, waiting, procedure, and recovery rooms
  • Prepare instruments and supplies for storage and distribution by checking, assembling, packaging, and sterilizing according to established guidelines
  • Report or remove any malfunctioning equipment or damaged instruments
  • Rotate stock and reprocess outdated supplies following clinic procedures
  • Perform any other related duties as needed

Compensation

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant licenses or certifications.

  • Casual MDRTs will work 1-2 days per week and approximately 1 Saturday each month.
  • Understand and adhere to Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines.
  • Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant licenses or certifications.
