Maneuver Marketing is looking for a Media Buyer (UK) to evolve from pure execution into a strategic growth driver. You will take full ownership of performance outcomes, identify high-leverage opportunities, and lead end-to-end media operations to enable sustainable scaling for our DTC brand partners.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose problems and identify opportunities in account structure, testing, targeting, placements, bidding, and ad set-up.
- Research market, product, and competition to find gaps in message-market fit, untapped niches, creative formats, and funnel experience.
- Pair videos with optimal copy, suggest structural changes to solve bottlenecks, and work with the team to inform creative strategy.
- Partner with the Growth Strategist and measurement team to determine real ROAS thresholds and triangulate data to define 'good performance'.
- Create comprehensive performance tracking using advanced Google Sheets functions like VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Build efficient testing architectures, including dedicated VSL campaigns, isolated placements, and strategic use of cost caps.
- Optimize video throughput velocity by managing test workflows and batching creative variants.
- Manage campaigns: monitor, trim, scale, add ads, and rotate past performers.
- Brief, coordinate, and quality-check executions with virtual assistants (VAs).
- Perform weekend and holiday campaign monitoring and high-priority optimizations.
- Work with Creative, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure ads remain within policy boundaries.
- Take accountability for strategic project outcomes, learn from other accounts, and bridge insights across projects.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a media buyer working with DTC brands.
- Strong work ethic and alignment with a mission-driven culture.
- Analytical mindset: comfortable working with data, analyzing key metrics, and understanding fundamental marketing levers.
- Strong media buying skills: experienced in managing ad budgets, experimenting with campaign structures, and understanding basics of manual bid strategies.
- Project management ability: identify goals, contribute to planning, execute tasks effectively, and adapt to real-time data.
- Project coordination skills: collaborate with other departments to ensure projects stay on track and within timelines.
- Resourcefulness, organization, independence, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets formulas like VLOOKUPs & pivot tables is compulsory.
Team & Environment
You will partner with Growth Strategists and work closely with Creative, Compliance, and Product teams, while also briefing and coordinating with virtual assistants (VAs).
