ContiTech USA, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Technician

Conducts conveyor systems setup/review, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of customer conveyor systems and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to same. Demonstrates/performs mechanical skills including but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting. Reads and interprets equipment manuals, blue prints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Complies with all government regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, MSHA and DOT. Maintains inventory of conveyor related parts, tools and necessary equipment. Manages time, equipment and material needed for all mechanical projects. Observes conveyor operations to detect defects or conveyor malfunction. Measures conveyor dimensions to determine accuracy of conveyor operation, to include feet and tons per minute. Operates any equipment needed to perform job. Performs other duties as assigned by management and/or as needed.
