Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in alignment with the company's mission to deliver a superior fresh shopping experience.
- Work closely with store leadership and retail specialists to implement strategies that improve department performance and meet business targets.
- Foster a positive, engaged work environment through regular one-on-one coaching and team meetings focused on goal setting, recognition, learning, and open communication.
- Lead all aspects of team development including hiring, training, performance evaluations, coaching, recognition, and professional growth while upholding confidentiality.
- Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures derived from management directives, handbooks, and official documentation to maintain consistent compliance.
- Manage daily department operations such as inventory control, product ordering, shelf maintenance, quality assurance, stock rotation, loss prevention, display standards, invoice processing, staffing schedules, and payroll tasks.
- Take part in scheduled store coverage rotations, performing opening and closing procedures and responding to emergency alarms when necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health, and occupational safety regulations and internal protocols.
- Support broader store objectives by taking on additional duties as needed.
