Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service that enhances the customer’s fresh shopping experience.
- Greet and support customers using established service standards, sharing product expertise with enthusiasm.
- Cut and prepare meats for display cases, maintaining visual appeal and consistent quality standards.
- Package, stock, and rotate meat products, ensuring freshness and optimal presentation on counters and shelves.
- Keep workspaces and storage areas clean, organized, and safe through routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
- Adhere to company policies with emphasis on health and safety, food safety protocols, HACCP requirements, and correct equipment handling.
- Guide and train team members in the meat cutter training program, fostering skill growth and operational efficiency.
- Carry out assigned opening and closing tasks and assist coworkers as necessary.
- Support management with daily operations, including inventory tracking and ordering supplies.
- Perform occasional additional duties to help maintain smooth department function.
