Responsibilities
- Build scalable and reliable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate external API services as needed
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, including use of Azure App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, DevOps, and Blob Storage
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with industry best practices
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues promptly
- Engage in Agile/Scrum processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews
- Optimize application performance, availability, and scalability while upholding strong code quality and design principles
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional full stack development experience with the MEAN stack
- High level of expertise in Angular (version 10 or higher), Node.js, and Express.js
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design and performance optimization
- Mandatory experience deploying and managing applications and databases on Microsoft Azure
- Strong grasp of CI/CD pipeline concepts, preferably using Azure DevOps
- Proficient in Git and standard version control workflows
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with alternative frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth and JWT
- Background in using automated testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, or Mocha
- Prior exposure to Aderant/3E systems
