Responsibilities
- Collect, document, and prioritize business requirements for Master Data Management, including business requirement documents, functional designs, user interface specifications, data enrichment rules, schema definitions, and data ingestion needs.
- Lead collaborative sessions with business teams and subject matter experts to define and refine MDM workflows and modernization initiatives.
- Perform data exploration and profiling to assess data quality, identify root causes of issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop SQL queries to extract, verify, and examine data, detecting inconsistencies and outliers.
- Define and validate rules for data matching, survivorship logic, and workflow configurations during MDM hub onboarding.
- Support the identification and validation of golden records, ensuring compliance with data governance and stewardship policies.
- Work closely with MDM architects, integration specialists, and development teams to convert business needs into technical specifications.
- Assist in solution validation by developing test cases for user acceptance testing, performing data validation, and analyzing defects.
- Produce documentation such as process flows, data mappings, governance artifacts, and requirement specifications.
- Lead Joint Application Design sessions to align business and technical teams throughout project execution.
