Bombardier is hiring a Material Logistics Agent

Bombardier is seeking a Material Logistics Agent to join our Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M) team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchase orders, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of parts to production. You will play a key part in monitoring operational and financial performance within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

What You'll Do

• Place Purchase Orders, follow up with suppliers, and assure parts are received on time and as per schedule.
• Administer portfolio activities related to invoices and purchase order pricing issues.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to optimize quality, time cycle, and costs.
• Monitor and confirm the delivery of parts to production in close collaboration with internal partner functions.
• Maintain Operational and Financial Key Performance Indicators.
• Interact with various multi-disciplinary teams (Logistics – Line, Programs, Finance, Production, Quality).
• Apply and follow contractual terms with suppliers.
• Negotiate and implement change management requests and secure associated purchase order requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Administration or Operations management.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the position.
• Possess a strong sense of ethics and be customer focused.
• Have excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Have good knowledge of MS Office.
• Have an advanced English level, spoken and written.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP and BAAN.
