What You'll Do
Accurately track incoming and outgoing materials by verifying counts, weights, and descriptions against shipping documents. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and coordinate with carriers to resolve issues. Package and label goods for shipment, ensuring compliance with handling and routing standards. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport and organize inventory within the storage area. Complete required records for each transaction, maintaining clear and accurate documentation. Follow direct instructions to complete routine tasks and escalate complex concerns to supervisory staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to two years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environment
- Strong ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Capacity to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Basic clerical skills, including data entry and form completion
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
- Endurance for standing, walking, and handling materials throughout the shift
