Glanbia Nutritionals Inc. is looking for a Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team. You will be responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets, and equipment safely and securely using various forklifts and material handling equipment, while also supporting general warehouse tasks.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, count/pick, stack, and stage product and materials using stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, regular reach trucks, and other equipment.
- Accurately pull and prepare product for production or shipment, completing documentation correctly using RH scanners.
- Inspect materials during picking, shipping, and receiving for accuracy and damage, reporting any discrepancies.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following work methods and OSHA standards.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse safety and report issues to management.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed.
- Work with known allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanut, tree nut and powders.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6-months Sit-Down, Reach, and Stand Up Forklift Experience.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis from 6 inches off Ground to Waist.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis from Waist to Shoulder.
- Ability to carry up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis up to 5 ft.
- Ability to pull a 55lb bag from a height of 60 inches on an occasional basis.
Nice to Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a Food environment or Consumer product industry.
- Experience using a WMS or ERP system with RF scanning.
