Responsibilities
- Operate during the first shift to feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other work-in-progress materials to and from assigned equipment
- Manually load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Load materials into trucks and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding using hand tools to prevent movement or damage during transport
- Transport materials from storage or work areas to specified locations using hand trucks, electric dollies, or similar equipment
- Count, weigh, and document the number of material units handled or moved on daily production records
- Attach identification tags or labels to materials or mark essential details on cases, bales, or containers
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and secure them using a banding machine and clincher
- Occasionally operate automated machinery or use industrial trucks and electric hoists to support material loading and movement
