As Marketing Manager for North America, you will lead the strategic adaptation of global marketing initiatives to meet the unique demands of the US defense and security market. Your focus will be on strengthening brand credibility, driving commercial outcomes, and ensuring messaging resonates within the complex US defense procurement environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine global marketing narratives to align with US buyer expectations and support high-stakes defense bids with targeted positioning.
- Enhance visibility in the defense ecosystem through thought leadership, media engagement, and coordinated public relations efforts.
- Lead US participation in major industry events, designing pre-event outreach and follow-up strategies to maximize lead generation and sales alignment.
- Shape digital marketing strategies for US audiences, providing clear direction to global teams to ensure campaigns support regional objectives.
- Track shifts in defense and aviation markets, translating insights into actionable recommendations for product and messaging development.
- Devote a portion of your time to tailoring messaging for US airport and wind energy clients, ensuring clarity and differentiation from defense-focused content.
- Identify gaps in sales enablement tools and collaborate with global teams to deliver timely, effective resources.
What You Bring
- 5–10+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in defense, aerospace, robotics, or deep tech sectors.
- Proven ability to craft compelling messaging and support field sales with strategic marketing assets.
- Strong understanding of US defense procurement processes and stakeholder dynamics.
- Experience working independently within a global organization, balancing local needs with centralized strategy.
- Skilled at building relationships across functions and geographies, including with PR agencies, event partners, and industry groups.
- Based in the US and available for up to 25% business travel.
