Pluralis Research is hiring a Marketing Manager to build and scale our community, voice, and presence from the ground up. You will join a world-class, deeply technical team of ML researchers driven by a strong ideology, believing our work will make the world a better place.
What You'll Do
- Manage our Discord community and build our presence on Twitter/X, engaging in relevant technical communities like Hacker News, Reddit, and AI forums.
- Translate frontier research into clear, accessible content for different audiences, including blogs, threads, and videos.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure visual brand consistency across all channels.
- Build email lists, create and run a newsletter, and optimise media channels with multimedia content.
- Track metrics across channels, run experiments, and optimise for discoverability.
- Create co-marketing materials and coordinate announcements with ecosystem partners.
- Monitor and track ecosystem trends, feeding positioning insights back to leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or community roles at technology companies.
- A deeply native understanding of Twitter, Discord, and emergent technical communities.
- Comfort with traditional channels: email marketing, SEO, and basic video and multimedia production.
- The ability to understand and explain our technical work, engaging comfortably with research papers and technical concepts.
- Knowledge of how to use agents and tools to maximise personal and team output.
- A self-starter who owns outcomes, operates independently, and balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience in AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or open source.
- An AI/ML background.
- Developer relations experience.
- Experience owning and growing community channels.
- Being based in the United States.
