As Marketing Events Manager, you will drive the vision and delivery of strategic events that amplify Cradle’s role at the forefront of AI-powered protein engineering. Your work will connect scientific innovation with industry influence, creating meaningful platforms for knowledge exchange and relationship building.
What You'll Do
You’ll shape and manage Cradle’s annual event calendar, making strategic decisions on participation, sponsorships, and original event opportunities. From intimate scientific roundtables to major conference activations, you’ll design and execute experiences that spotlight Cradle’s expertise.
- Develop and produce original events including workshops, executive dinners, symposia, and partner collaborations
- Design programming that positions internal scientists and leaders as authoritative voices in computational protein design
- Engage your professional network to bring in key opinion leaders, conference organizers, and industry figures
- Build and maintain partnerships across pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic sectors
- Monitor the evolving event landscape to identify emerging opportunities and relevant formats
- Manage all aspects of high-priority events—budgets, vendors, timelines, and cross-functional coordination
- Collaborate with marketing teams on messaging, promotional assets, and post-event follow-up campaigns
- Measure event performance and extract insights to refine future strategies
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in event management or field marketing within biotech, pharma, or life sciences
- Proven track record of designing and delivering community-focused events from concept to completion
- Familiarity with major industry conferences and established relationships with organizers and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with experience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple parties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or working knowledge in protein engineering, computational biology, or drug discovery
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or in building an events function from the ground up
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot or Cvent
