Polymarket is hiring a Market Vertical Lead to own a key domain within our prediction markets platform. You'll be the internal expert who identifies, launches, and maintains markets in a specific vertical like Pop Culture, Tech, or Business. Your role is to build and run your own domain, shaping the future of information through market-based truth.
What You'll Do
- Pitch your vertical: articulate why it matters, who trades it, and what the roadmap looks like.
- Write clear, tight, and tradable market questions and descriptions.
- Stay ahead of trends: be the first to know what's happening in your domain.
- Maintain market quality by monitoring resolution criteria, edge cases, and timing.
- Collaborate with the core team to flag needs, improvements, and ideas for growth.
- Track performance and help define metrics like volume, coverage, and user engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Deep, active expertise in your domain: you follow the stories, stats, and subreddits.
- Strong technical writing skills to craft clean, airtight, and neutral markets.
- High agency: you don't wait to be told what to cover—you proactively bring ideas.
- Meticulous attention to detail, knowing a market lives or dies by its wording.
- Speed and judgment to ship fast and get it right.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in prediction markets, sports betting, or financial platforms.
- Experience in fast-paced editorial, research, or analysis roles.
- Ability to write or automate small tools to track news, results, or stats.
- Familiarity with Polymarket or a strong personal trading history.
