8Fleet Inc. is hiring a Market Manager to own the end-to-end operations and strategic growth of our ridesharing fleet in San Francisco. This essential role requires operational expertise, a deep understanding of the ridesharing industry, and a founder’s mindset to drive business growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Own all financial and operational metrics to ensure optimal revenue and profit maximization.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring.
Manage vehicle maintenance and repair programs to ensure optimal fleet utilization and safety.
Partner with the Growth team to develop and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base.
Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement in profitability and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize fleet profitability.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards achieving business goals.
Provide ongoing support and training to drivers on industry best practices, safety regulations, and customer service.
Foster a positive and supportive environment for all employees.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary corrective actions.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience managing operations, building and developing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering business goals.
2+ years of people management experience, high EQ, and proven ability to deliver outstanding results through others.
Goal focus with a strong bias toward action.
Data-driven mindset, strong business judgment, and proven ability to perform analysis, draw key insights, and form and execute a strategy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage a team, influence stakeholders, and inspire others.
Excellent organization and time management.
Willingness to get your hands dirty, lead by example, and motivate teams both through in-person and remote management.
BA/BS with an impressive academic record.
Available full-time, on-site in San Francisco (in-office 5 days a week).

Nice to Have

Entrepreneurial hustle and proven self-starter with owner’s mentality; some entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
Experience with ridesharing platforms (Uber, Lyft) is a strong plus.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary: $105k-$125k + equity: strong stock option award.

Work Mode

This is an onsite role based in San Francisco.
