The Manufacturing Finance Business Partner will partner with four Australian manufacturing sites and the Finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting, insights, and analysis that drive performance. Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Manager, this role is based in Dandenong South, Victoria, and plays a key role in supporting strategic financial decision-making across operations at ITW.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with four Australian based Manufacturing sites and the Finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, insights and analysis that drive performance and value
- Lead key financial processes including weekly/monthly manufacturing reporting, month-end tasks, journals, P&L reviews, annual product costing, and revaluation processes
- Support capex financial reviews
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Work directly with Plant Managers, Operations Directors, purchasing teams and Divisional Controllers to understand drivers of performance and provide strategic financial support
- Identify simplification opportunities across reporting, operational analysis and costing processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency and alignment with ITW practices
What We're Looking For
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong data analysis capability and the ability to turn insights into actionable business information
- Advanced Excel and business modelling skills
- Experience preparing outlooks, annual plans and manufacturing reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills
- A natural “80/20” mindset — ability to prioritise, simplify and focus on what matters most
Nice to Have
- Strong cost/management accounting background with experience in manufacturing
