dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at our Montreal location. This role reports directly to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineer & Building Maintenance. You'll be at the heart of designing and updating plant and production cell layouts for a global leader in access solutions that enable seamless movement in secure, safe, and sustainable places.
What You'll Do
- Design and update plant layouts and production cells layout.
- Formulate and review work instructions for subassembly and assembly of locks components.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement process (DMS, Kaizen, A3 problem solving, etc.).
- Gather data and analyze business challenges alongside subject matter experts.
- Drive evidence-based decision-making that helps design new processes.
- Schedule routine check-in meetings with your supervisor to monitor the advancement of assigned projects.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and Spring 2029.
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week for a 10-12 week internship period from May through August 2026.

Benefits & Compensation
- Base Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
