About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineer 2 will support the production and deployment of instrumentation and control components, focusing on process improvement, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing processes for instrumentation and control systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret design specifications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for production workflows
  • Support quality assurance protocols during manufacturing
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturing input
  • Troubleshoot issues in production environments
  • Work with suppliers to ensure component quality and specifications
  • Assist in the validation of manufacturing tools and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of process changes and updates
  • Support root cause analysis for non-conformance issues
  • Implement corrective actions for identified manufacturing defects
  • Coordinate with operations teams to streamline workflows
  • Ensure adherence to documentation control procedures
  • Provide technical guidance during production ramp-up
  • Evaluate new technologies for integration into manufacturing
  • Assist in training production personnel on new processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators for manufacturing efficiency
  • Support audits related to quality and compliance
