About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer 2 will support the production and deployment of instrumentation and control components, focusing on process improvement, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes for instrumentation and control systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret design specifications
- Create and maintain technical documentation for production workflows
- Support quality assurance protocols during manufacturing
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturing input
- Troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Work with suppliers to ensure component quality and specifications
- Assist in the validation of manufacturing tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of process changes and updates
- Support root cause analysis for non-conformance issues
- Implement corrective actions for identified manufacturing defects
- Coordinate with operations teams to streamline workflows
- Ensure adherence to documentation control procedures
- Provide technical guidance during production ramp-up
- Evaluate new technologies for integration into manufacturing
- Assist in training production personnel on new processes
