Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production escalations involving complex computing systems within advanced wafer inspection tools.
- Deliver robust technical assistance to manufacturing teams to ensure on-time product deliveries.
- Create, execute, and sustain manufacturing workflows and documentation to optimize build efficiency and quality.
- Engage actively in the development phase of new products.
- Present design-for-manufacturability feedback during design reviews to engineering teams.
- Review, approve, and verify subsystem test methodologies and validate associated test fixtures.
- Receive theoretical and hands-on assembly training from design engineers for image processing computer systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful introduction of new products.
- Issue engineering change orders to update design bill-of-materials structures in alignment with procurement and production needs.
- Identify and qualify end-of-life components to sustain product availability and shipping timelines.
- Maintain accurate control over software versions, license keys, and configuration files for proper system deployment.
- Offer on-site troubleshooting and resolution support for field issues requiring deep product design expertise, including beta testing at customer locations.
- Oversee supplier relationships, covering specifications, cost efficiency, ramp readiness, quality assurance, and failure analysis.
- Travel up to 25% of the time as required.
