Precision for Medicine (Precision Medicine Group) is hiring a Managing Director, Investor Relations

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of 7 to 10 client accounts.
  • Support leadership within a dedicated team structure focused on shared client responsibilities.
  • Design and implement customized strategic approaches tailored to client needs.
  • Supervise the creation and quality assurance of all client-facing materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for daily client interactions, supported by senior leadership when necessary.
  • Lead client discussions and advise executives on investor communication, messaging, and market positioning across diverse stages of development.
  • Monitor industry, regulatory, and competitive trends and adapt strategies in response to evolving conditions.
  • Produce and refine technical corporate communications such as investor decks, press releases, and earnings scripts to a polished standard.
  • Oversee execution of complex research, targeting analyses, roadshows, and investor meetings.
  • Plan and support investor events, including travel as needed.
  • Manage client contracts, retainers, financial planning, and accurate billing processes.
  • Meet a 75% utilization target for billable client work.
  • Supervise junior team members, including performance evaluations and professional development planning.
  • Train and guide team members to excel in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, respect, collaboration, and client focus.
  • Advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and organization.
  • Model strong leadership by combining ambition with integrity and teamwork.
  • Review and approve time tracking and utilization for direct reports.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts and support new business development through proposals and pitches.
  • Use an established network to generate inbound opportunities.
  • Build relationships with investors, analysts, and financial partners to strengthen credibility.
  • Serve as a recognized expert in biotech and healthcare investor relations.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
  • Support internal strategy, operations, and growth projects within the investor relations division.
  • Develop innovative ideas and thought leadership for clients and the organization.
