About the Role

Samsung Electronics America is looking for a Manager, Territory Sales responsible for driving distinct revenue within assigned accounts. You will be measured on the attainment of revenue and profit targets and the creation of sales demand. This role is critical to building sales growth for our Regional Accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain multi-level cross-departmental customer relationships.
  • Continuously develop and bring to fruition an opportunity pipeline that identifies customer requirements.
  • Meet regularly with customers to establish yourself as a trusted advisor who can effectively communicate Samsung’s vision.
  • Build sales growth for Regional Accounts.
  • Review and revise plans monthly, working with Samsung Marketing to maximize sales.
  • Plan sku listings, targets, budgets, advertising, and promotions.
  • Gather weekly product forecast by model by dealer and ensure inventory forecast matches promotional calendar by account.
  • Reduce account-to-account friction through careful calendar, promotion, and sku scheduling.
  • Control territory sales expenses in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Provide in-store support for locations including weekly store visits and training.
  • Collaborate with all accounts on joint business planning, brand management, in-store merchandising, and retail sales execution.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products.
  • Demonstrated ability to relationship sell within a given territory.
  • The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous related opportunities and programs in a changing Home Appliances industry.
  • The ability to close new business within a territory with minimal management intervention.
  • Ability to make professional presentations and to communicate in writing, through email, reports, or orally on sales matters.
  • Must be self-motivated, hardworking, energetic and a team player to achieve objectives and complete assignments within established time frames.
  • The ability to develop account-specific and territory plans to ensure objectives are met in any given quarter.

Nice to Have

  • College or University education (Bachelor’s).
  • 5 years + of related experience, preferably in the Digital Appliance business.
