About the Role

Sezzle is seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead full-cycle recruiting for our Corporate, Commercial Operations, Technical, and Engineering functions. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee a team of recruiters, act as a strategic partner to executive and functional leaders, and deliver high-quality talent in a hyper-growth environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters supporting Engineering, Technical, Commercial Operations, and Corporate functions.
  • Own hiring performance across supported business areas, ensuring delivery against headcount plans, time-to-fill targets, and quality-of-hire metrics.
  • Drive disciplined requisition management, prioritization, and workload distribution.
  • Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability mechanisms across the recruiting team.
  • Step in as a player-coach when necessary to ensure critical roles are filled.
  • Bring structure and consistency to recruiting processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, understanding business goals and workforce planning needs.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable recruiting plans and provide talent market insights to influence hiring strategy.
  • Build high-caliber candidate pipelines across engineering, technical, and corporate disciplines.
  • Elevate sourcing strategies and proactive talent pool mapping.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and structured interviewing.
  • Utilize internal hiring data and external market data to develop and execute plans that drive performance.
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in feedback, recognition, and ownership.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study, or a minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience.
  • Experience recruiting across technical and corporate disciplines in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to scale processes and drive execution.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and hold stakeholders accountable.
  • Experience leveraging recruiting metrics and dashboards to drive performance.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Action-oriented, decisive, and comfortable making tough calls.
  • Data-driven, disciplined, and able to simplify complexity.
  • A coach who develops talent and expects excellence.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry.

You will lead a team of recruiters supporting Engineering, Technical, Commercial Operations, and Corporate functions.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000
  • Competitive insurance including Medical, dental, vision and income protection plans.

This is a hybrid position based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.
