HD Supply Management, LLC is hiring a Manager, Supply Chain - Slotting to own the strategy and execution of facilities functions and direct the activities of supply chain development. You will build partnerships with transportation and logistics teams to collectively develop and execute strategies across the supply chain network.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and utilize various tools to enable effective development, education, and direction of the supply chain process.
- Build effective communication and processes with the transportation and logistics teams.
- Evaluate suppliers on best value, including service and methods, to improve field productivity and price.
- Drive usage of cost models to validate commodity strategies and understand significant cost drivers.
- Assist in translating complex system models into executive-level presentations with analyses and data-driven recommendations.
- Schedule and execute periodic evaluations to ensure vendors are adhering to pricing contracts and agreements.
- Ensure effective response time on delivery of materials to job sites and monitor service delivery to meet agreed targets and standards.
- Provide leadership for supply chain projects both internal and external.
What We're Looking For
- Must reside in the state(s) specified in the posting.
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
- Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
Nice to Have
- May require certification.
- An advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
