Abnormal AI is hiring a Manager, Renewals Management to own the renewal process for our email security SaaS business. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring high customer retention, predictable revenue, and a scalable renewals engine.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Renewal Managers/Specialists, setting clear goals and KPIs for renewal bookings, gross renewal retention, upsell, and forecast accuracy.
- Manage and improve the full renewal lifecycle, from early engagement and negotiation to securing commitments and collaborating with cross-functional teams for contract execution.
- Drive a data-driven renewal process by monitoring pipeline health, identifying at-risk accounts, implementing preservation strategies, and reporting on key renewal metrics.
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify and capture expansion opportunities during renewal engagements.
- Develop and mature forecasting models for renewal bookings, churn, and NARR, presenting updates to senior leadership to improve predictability.
- Manage escalations and high-visibility renewal situations, supporting Renewal Managers in complex negotiations or large-scale renewals.
- Stay current with SaaS licensing, pricing models, contract terms, and market trends in the email security and cybersecurity industry.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in renewals, post-sales, or account management leadership within a B2B SaaS environment, with 2+ years managing direct reports.
- Proven track record managing renewals for enterprise customers, with demonstrated strength in renewal metrics and forecasting accuracy.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to lead renewal conversations at the executive level.
- Excellent analytical and operational mindset, comfortable building and using renewal dashboards, forecasting models, and playbooks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to develop, motivate, and retain a team.
- Experience with CRM and customer success tools like Salesforce and Gainsight and a strong process-oriented mindset.
- Strategic thinker capable of improving and scaling processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in email security, cybersecurity, or other highly regulated SaaS industries.
- Experience working in a high-volume renewal environment or managing large renewal books.
- Exposure to international renewal or multi-regional contract management.

- Salary Range: $159,840—$188,000 USD
- Equity: restricted stock units (RSUs)
