Progressive Leasing is hiring a Manager, Regional Sales responsible for growing company revenue within a specific territory. This territory-based role requires living in the Washington, D.C. region and involves managing a remote sales team, developing sales strategies, and ensuring revenue and profitability quotas are met.
What You'll Do
- Provide quality leadership for Progressive's merchants in all assigned tasks.
- Manage a remote sales team within their geographic region.
- Handle staff hiring and training; creating goals and motivating team to meet set goals and revenue objectives.
- Achieve the Region's revenue and profitability quotas for Progressive services sold into all merchant segments within the region.
- Establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
- Sell and teach others how to sell value and solutions to Progressive's merchants.
- Direct selling activities within the Region, inclusive of resource deployment and merchant interactions.
- Prioritize effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.
- Efficiently manage the region's merchant relationships.
- Lead team to ensure attention and growth in the key account portfolios in the region.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years account management experience managing a remote regional field team.
- 3 years retail experience, proven track record of success working with decision makers at retailers, managing business growth and partnerships with retailer clients.
- 2+ years experience in cold calling, hunting, or prospecting B2B.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products; MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must live within the specific region of Washington, D.C.
- 50% to 75% travel required.
