Worley is hiring a Manager, Project Controls to lead the project controls function on multi-billion dollar mining projects in LATAM. In this role, you will have full responsibility for Cost Control, Planning & Scheduling, Estimating, and Reporting, implementing tools and systems to proactively manage, control, and report costs and schedules.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Project Controls function on multi-billion dollar projects.
- Assume full responsibility for the performance of the Project Controls team, both in the office and on the construction site.
- Implement tools and systems to proactively manage, control, and report costs and schedules.
- Define metrics, collect performance data, analyze productivity and risks, and track scope changes.
- Integrate cost and schedule information with accounting and management systems to meet financial and performance goals.
- Develop tactical plans to meet organizational objectives.
- Design concepts related to projects and functional areas.
- Direct work through supervisors or professionals, including decisions on selection, training, discipline, and compensation.
- Assign work across multiple projects and define policies.
- Present complex proposals and reports to senior management (Worley and client).
- Develop new tools and solve technical problems.
What We're Looking For
- University degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory, project management, and/or technical roles.
- Experience with multi-billion dollar mining projects in LATAM.
- Experience with EPCM/EPC project delivery models.
- High level of client interaction and engagement.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience leading teams of 10-20 people.

- Preferred experience on copper projects.
