About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and development of project management staff assigned to a centralized resource pool
- Establish standardized project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Collaborate with project and functional leaders to allocate project management resources effectively
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development guidance to project managers
- Monitor project health metrics and support corrective actions when needed
- Lead performance evaluations and talent reviews for project management personnel
- Develop training programs to enhance project management capabilities
- Ensure compliance with project governance and reporting standards
- Promote continuous improvement in project delivery processes
- Serve as a strategic advisor on project management capability and capacity
- Facilitate cross-project communication and knowledge sharing
- Support organizational change initiatives related to project execution
- Maintain project management office standards and documentation
- Partner with HR on staffing, succession planning, and workforce planning
- Drive accountability and professional conduct within the project management team
- Evaluate project management tools and recommend technology improvements
- Align project management practices with industry standards and regulatory expectations
- Represent project management leadership in organizational forums
- Manage resource workload balancing across multiple projects
