Kraft Heinz is seeking a Manager, Planning to lead Primal Kitchen’s strategic planning across demand, supply, deployment, and production. You will be responsible for driving forecast accuracy, optimizing service levels, and ensuring operational efficiency through data-driven solutions and a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead planning strategy across demand, supply, deployment, and production to drive forecast accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of planners; provide training, clear performance metrics, and regular feedback.
- Drive S&OP process excellence, ensuring alignment between commercial forecasts and operational capabilities.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics across all planning functions; implement data-driven solutions to address gaps.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide visibility into planning challenges and opportunities, recommending strategic solutions.
- Oversee the development and continuous improvement of planning processes, systems, and tools.
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support business objectives.
- Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Partner with Kraft Heinz operations teams to develop a best-in-class planning function optimized for Primal Kitchen.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to all direct reports.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations; conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new planning team members.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or related roles within the CPG or food industry.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of S&OP processes and supply chain optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change.
