Karbon is hiring a Manager of People Operations

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine the complete people and talent operations workflow using AI as the core execution layer for onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle changes, and recruitment.
  • Develop AI agents to autonomously manage routine tasks such as onboarding coordination, compliance documentation, offer letter creation, interview scheduling, and initial employee inquiries.
  • Implement AI systems to monitor and maintain HR compliance across six global regions, with automated alerts for regulatory changes and entity-specific obligations.
  • Create AI-powered analytics and reporting tools that deliver real-time dashboards, hiring funnel visibility, and operational metrics for leadership decision-making.
  • Operate the HRIS, ATS, and broader people technology ecosystem as a unified, AI-enhanced platform, prioritizing tools with strong API integration and agent compatibility.
  • Enhance talent acquisition with AI-driven forecasting, data accuracy, and funnel analysis, collaborating with hiring managers to integrate AI into their workflows.
  • Manage US benefits programs and vendor relationships using AI to automate enrollment, track eligibility, and generate insights for future benefits planning.
  • Use artificial intelligence to proactively identify and resolve employee experience pain points across the employment lifecycle before they require support.
  • Lead AI-enabled documentation of people processes, ensuring workflows are clearly defined for both human understanding and agent execution.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Legal through AI-augmented processes for headcount planning, system access, and contract and policy administration.
  • Train and guide the people team in AI literacy, agent development, and automation best practices to model a modern, AI-first operations function.
  • Establish governance standards for AI use in people operations, ensuring ethical, compliant handling of sensitive candidate and employee data worldwide.
